IT Solutions Architect:
Our client is a market-leading provider of technology to the finance, telecommunications, and other industry segments.
This particular role is to work with Account Teams and Product
Managers to define the IT architecture of specific customer solutions.
Job Roles and Responsibilities
Working across all the tools in the software portfolio, the Solutions
Architect will be responsible for developing the proposed IT framework and
infrastructure solutions for customer proposals and installations.
This will
include:
Defining customer specific IT requirements including equipment
specification and dimensioning in line with product operation, maintenance
and upgrade demands, customer IT policy and related legacy system
investments.
Liasing with the customer to ensure that these requirements are understood
and provisioned
Developing ad-hoc database creation, tool customization and example
customer file import scripts as necessary to support sales and demonstration
activity
Defining operational and support procedures including back-up, upgrade etc
Contributing to the development of the software architecture including aspects such as middleware support, database architecture, support tools etc
Providing technical expertise and support to ensure that tools are configured to provide the required performance and reliability.
Performing system delivery and troubleshooting within the software
solution installation implementation team as required
Contributing to product development, feature enhancements and roadmap
Skills Needed
The following skills are required for this role:
Good customer management and communication skills
At least 2 years experience in an IT architect or administrator role,
preferably within an operational environment
Knowledge of the equipment and tools used in the management of mobile
networks
Oracle, UNIX and Windows NT to basic administration level
Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Access, Project, Visio) |
